What Are CPTG Oils?

The quality of an essential oil is extremely important. This is because you are choosing to place these products on, and often, inside your body. When picking out your oils, don’t just walk into any health food store and choose one off the shelf; more often than not the oils from those locations are not high quality and won’t benefit your body’s needs in the correct way.

Why is it that you need to be concerned? Aren’t ALL essential oils relatively the same thing?

The answer is definitely no; not all essential oils companies are equally honest about what goes into the processes of making their oils. Some may choose to save money by cutting the oils with synthetic chemicals, diluting the oils, or even extracting the oils from a plant using chemical solvents instead of the traditional steam distillation or cold press methods. None of those options are honest or healthy for your body.

When you choose to use doTERRA essential oils, you will be getting a product that has been correctly distilled from plants that have been carefully grown from all around the world. On top of the fact that doTERRA uses steam distillation and cold press methods to extract the oils, they also do multiple testing to ensure that each product is CPTG quality.

What is CPTG? It mean Certified Pure Therapeutic Grade, which certifies that there are no added fillers, synthetic ingredients, or harmful contaminants that would actually cause adverse effects within the body if used.  The whole process of CPTG testing is quite in depth, going above and beyond the two most common testing used in the world of essential oils.

It is so nice to know that there is a company out there who truly wants to provide there customers with the  safest, most effective, and affordable products possible. That is one of the many reasons why I love doTERRA and truly enjoy using their essential oils!
